The answer to this question greatly depends on the size of the panel the film is being applied to, the size of the vehicle, and even complexity of the installation.
On simple items like mirrors and headlights, it can take anywhere from 15 to 30 minutes for each item.
Bumper covers alone can take between 1-2 hours depending on the complexity and amount of details required. Gloss black trim and carbon fiber accents greatly increase the amount of time required to complete a full installation.
When it comes to the packages we offer the installation can take anywhere from 3 to 40 hours in total.
We know the range of time is difficult to gauge if you’ve never worked with clear bra, so that is why we do our best to let you know how long the installation takes prior to you booking with us.

Clear bra is made to withstand rock chips and even some small road debris from damaging your car’s paint. That being said, it is still a thin piece of plastic sitting at (8 mils in thickness). Throw anything big enough or hard enough at it and it will go through the clear bra and onto your paint.
We have seen some scenarios where clear bra has protected a car’s paint after grazing a mailbox or even another car, but the amount of damage clear bra can withstand is relative to the size and the force behind the object in question.

Clear bra remains removable up to the warranty period originally stated by the manufacturer, anything after that point can cause the clear bra’s adhesive to permanently bond to the surface it was applied to.

For best results, we recommend using DYNO Finish during washes to keep the film in top condition.

When it comes to clear bra installation, you need an area that doesn’t have air flow or a current of air coming into it. This is to reduce and minimize any dirt and dust particles from becoming embedded onto the clear bra’s adhesive. That is why all of our mobile clear bra installations are limited to homes with a garage.
